McCain’s psychosexual drama

Why isn’t the press discussing McCain’s odd psychosexual behavior? Not only does he have zero credibility on women’s issues, unless you count making beauty queens the center of his personal and political life, but he is looking more and more like a sexual predator.
There’s something going on with this guy, apart from the obvious weak and slimy and desperate attempt to make gullible people (of which there are far too many in America, and they vote) think he is more of a maverick than a sidekick. Pandering to the extreme right, pandering to ignorant women. And having bizarre impulses about choosing the women in his life.
The woman on the left is who McCain thinks should step into his shoes should the worst happen to him. (Photo: Sarah Palin at home.) Not that Presidents can’t be sexy, but I’m thinking tart here.
Palin’ by comparison

John McCain says experience counts. He talks about readiness to be Commander in Chief. This is whom he thinks should be a heartbeat away from the Presidency:
Sarah Palin’s bio:
Experience: Alaska governor since December 2006; unsuccessful run for Republican nomination for lieutenant governor in 2002; chairwoman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, 2003-2004; served two terms as Wasilla mayor and two terms on city council.
Education: After attending five different schools over a 6-year period, Palin graduated from the University of Idaho in 1987 with a degree in sports journalism. She was never involved in any college journalism or journalism groups.
Business: Worked as sports reporter for two Anchorage television stations; owned with her husband a snowmobile, watercraft, ATV business from 1994-97. Husband is a North Slope oil field worker.
Compare to Biden’s bio:
Experience: New Castle County Council, 1970-72. November 1972 - Elected one of Delaware’s U.S. senators, beating an incumbent Republican. January 1975 - Becomes a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which he later chairs. January 1977 - Becomes a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which he later chairs from 1987 to 1994. November 1978 - Wins re-election to U.S. Senate. November 1984 - Re-elected to U.S. Senate. November 1990 - Wins re-election to U.S. Senate. November 1996 - Re-elected to U.S. Senate. November 2002 - Wins re-election to U.S. Senate.
Education: University of Delaware, B.A. 1965, Syracuse University, J.D. 1968
Professional Career (before election to US Senate): Practicing atty., 1968-72. Trial attorney with a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. Wilmington Public Defender.
Palin on the VP position: In an interview just a month ago, she dissed the job, saying it didn’t seem “productive.” In fact, she said she didn’t know what the vice president does. Larry Kudlow of CNBC’s “Kudlow & Co.” asked her about the possibility of becoming McCain’s ticket mate.
Palin replied: “As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.”
That’s okay Sarah, McCain doesn’t understand economics or geography. He thinks the current recession is “psychological.” You’re a great pair–McCain and not Able.
More Palin positions and an insight into McCain’s judgment:
- Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.
- Palin supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.
- Palin doesn’t think humans are the cause of climate change.
- Palin is solidly in line with John McCain’s “Big Oil first” energy policy. She’s pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won’t be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.
How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.

Biden time

Friday, 11:30 PM Mountain Time – Well, Joe Biden as VP. I like it. He will for sure make John McCain look like the disorganized, superficial, weak-on-foreign-policy, petty tyrant and shallow thinker that he his. Two men with smarts, presence, vision, and character versus Mister Magoo and who? Lieberman? (Oh, please, please, please pick Lieberman and kiss the election goodbye right now, Magoo Of The Seven Houses!) Mitt Romney? My VP can beat your VP.
Hoo ha! Good choice, Barack.

Now, who leaked the VP story before I got my special supporter message? Not that I thought for one minute that would work.
And there goes Hillary’s Scranton cred. Joe was actually born there.
